2020: A year of challenges and a time to focus on mission
It’s no secret that 2020 has been a challenging year. Every business has been impacted by the pandemic and ASC certainly was not immune.
We faced those challenges head on and focused on fulfilling our mission. Our mission “to save and protect lives with our mass notification products and solutions,” is what drives us every day.
We also were determined to emphasize with customers our dedication to the work they do. We worked with them in 2020 to provide the right solution for their municipality, campus, industrial or nuclear facility. Through this work, we forged and strengthened relationships with customers around the world.
Lastly, we learned the value of protection. In 2020, we protected ourselves from the virus. In most years, we need protection from weather-related events like tornadoes, floods, and wildfires. We also need protection from active shooters, chemical spills, radiation leaks and more.
Innovation still reigns in 2020
In 2020, we have continued to design and innovate the most reliable mass notification solutions despite the pandemic. Our systems provide advanced warning of potentially dangerous situations. They also provide clear voice instruction before, during and after an event, alerting individuals of the precautions to take.
While 2020 was a challenging year, ASC used the year to continue innovating the best in mass notification solutions.
We will continue this work with the goal of supporting emergency management professionals, developing user-friendly technology like our award-winning CompuLert NEXGen platform. Or like our clear voice and tone Clarity siren, created with the end-user in mind — it’s easy to ship without the use of semi-trailers and is easy to install without the need for heavy equipment.
We also have our ASC AWARE technology that alerts users on network-connected devices — like laptops, smart boards and digital signage — and ASC Sentinel, our mobile device warning system that provides two-way communication between individuals and authorities.
We are confident that 2021 will indeed be better than 2020 and we look forward to developing new relationships and state-of-the-art technology as we continue to work through this pandemic together.
