POSITION DESCRIPTION — Mass Notification System Sales

REPORTS TO : Sales/Business Development Manager

SUPERVISES: Provides work direction as member of business development team.

LOCATION: ASC is based out of Milwaukee. We’re looking to add members to our team across the US.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for driving profitable sales growth through the owner-direct and authorized dealer sales channels. Provides direct support to the network of dealers (and installing contractors) with business development and training services that promote American Signal Corporation product solutions. Jointly develop and pursue target opportunities in the geographic territories assigned.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

Mass Notification Systems Knowledge and Salse Experience Required.

An undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for engineering or business administration with hands on experience in solution design and implementation.

Key point of contact for owner-direct customers and channel partners (dealers and installing contractors) providing direct sales quotations, answering queries, providing technical advice and supporting new product introductions.

Communication skills to support discovery and understanding of client requirements and related challenges.

Ability to target, qualify and develop customer relationships in an owner-direct and dealer/contractor delivery channel.

Collaboration skills to work with sales, engineering and customer service to develop solutions that accurately address customer needs and adhere to industry standards, quality and technical performance requirements.

Ability to influence and advise customers on solution options that provide best solution fit to meet performance and budget requirements.

Develops and prepares clear project scope definitions and project proposal documents to communicate American Signal Corporation solution.

Tracks all opportunities with target and assigned accounts (markets) using Salesforce CRM tools and processes.

Builds partnerships with dealer (and contractor) sales channel to expand presence, capabilities and sales growth across North American markets.

Demonstrated knowledge base in Life/Safety and Mass Notification solutions, including installation and service support responsibilities.Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional sales and personal growth goals.
